How to take a screenshot on Samsung devices quickly?

Zymyrnx
I'm in a rush and need to take a screenshot of this awesome game I'm playing on my Samsung Galaxy S21. I've heard there are ways to do it faster than the regular method, but I have no idea where to start. Does anyone know how to take a screenshot on Samsung devices quickly? I'm getting a bit annoyed with having to wait for the whole screen to freeze before taking a picture of this text. I've tried searching online, but all the results seem to be for Android 10 or older. Can someone please help me out? Also, is there any way to edit the screenshot without opening an image editor app? I just need to highlight some specific parts and maybe add a note. Thanks in advance for your help! -SamsungScreenshotStruggles

To take a quick screenshot on your Samsung Galaxy S21, you can utilize the 'Quick Settings' panel. Hold the Power button and the Volume Down button simultaneously for about a second until you hear a camera shutter sound. This will capture the entire screen. If you want to edit your screenshot directly without opening an image editor app, go to the Recent Items section of the Quick Settings panel, find the screenshot thumbnail, and tap on it. The Screenshot Editor will then open by default in a new window allowing you to annotate your screenshot with the Pixel Editing Tool, or share it via messaging apps or email. By using this method, you can take a screenshot quickly and edit it directly without having to switch between apps.

On Samsung devices, taking a screenshot quickly involves using the Volume Down button and the Power button simultaneously. This method allows for fast image capture without freezing the screen. Pressing these two buttons at the same time will instantly save a screenshot of your current screen. Note that this shortcut works even in game modes or other interactive applications where the regular screenshot function may freeze the screen. To edit the screenshot without opening an image editor app, simply tap on the screenshot thumbnail in the bottom right corner of your screen to open it with Samsung's built-in gallery app, and then use the 'Select' tool to highlight specific parts or add notes.

For fast screenshot capture on Samsung Galaxy S21, use the Edge Panel feature. Press and hold the volume-down button while navigating to Screenshot using Edge Panel on the home screen or any app that supports edge panels. Alternatively, you can use the Always-on Display with S-Pen support: press and hold the S-Pen tip until the edge panel appears. Quickly tap the screenshot icon in the edge panel to capture the entire screen or tap and drag the crosshair over the area of interest. For more precise control without opening an image editor app, try using the One-Handed Mode feature with a third-party screenshot editor like Adobe Photoshop Express. Simply tap the 'Quick Select' option within the edge panel for immediate highlight selection and note addition. This method is also supported on most Samsung Galaxy S21 models with One UI 3.x or later.

Taking a screenshot on Samsung Galaxy S21 can be done quickly by using the volume-down button and the power button simultaneously for 3-4 seconds. You can also use the recent screen capture feature by swiping left from the right edge of the screen. To edit screenshots without an image editor app, you can use Samsung's built-in screenshot editor, which allows you to highlight specific parts and add notes. To access the screenshot editor on Samsung devices, go to the Screenshots folder in the Gallery app, tap the three dots at the top right corner, and select 'Edit'. You can then draw on your screenshot, add text, and even crop it to get exactly what you need. The edit feature is available on most Samsung models, including the S21 series.
