Hola, I'm planning a trip to Spain and I'll be working with some Spanish teachers. Does anyone know how to say "teacher" in Spanish? I've been studying the language but I'm still not sure of the correct translation. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Maestra (feminine form) or Maestro (masculine form), both widely used and accepted in Spain, but Estudiante has a different meaning: student.

The translation of "teacher" in Spanish is "maestros", but the more commonly used term for a single male or female teacher is "profesor" or "profesora", respectively. In some countries, such as Argentina and Uruguay, the term "enseñante" is also widely used.
