How to screenshot on iPad using buttons or assistive touch?

JX8923z
I just got a new iPad and I'm having trouble finding the screenshot button. I've tried using Assistive Touch but can't figure out how to use it to take a screenshot. Can anyone help me? I want to be able to quickly capture my screen and share it with friends or family members. I've heard of using the volume buttons, but I'm not sure if that's the best option for everyone. I've tried searching online for tutorials, but everything seems to say different things. Some people say you need to use a specific app to take a screenshot, while others claim it's as simple as pressing a single button. I just want to find out how to do it easily and efficiently. Has anyone else had trouble with this? What worked for you? I'd appreciate any tips or tricks you can share.
