To connect your AirPods to your MacBook, start by opening the Apple menu and clicking on “System Preferences”. From there, navigate to “sound”. Click on the “audio output” dropdown menu and select “AirPods (Bluetooth)” from the list of available options. If prompted, enter your MacBook password to complete the setup process.
Alternatively, you can also use the AirPods case to connect to your MacBook by placing it within range and waiting for a few seconds. This should prompt your MacBook to detect the AirPods and ask if you want to pair them. Select the “airPods” option from the list of available devices, and then click “enter for Mac” to complete the pairing process.
Once your AirPods are connected, you should see their battery life displayed in the top right corner of your MacBook's screen. You can also use the Force Touch Trackpad to quickly switch between audio outputs, such as switching from AirPods to external speakers or headphones.
